A favourite tune by one of my favourite artists - Bob Dylan.

Last night I was out walking and I was struck by the number of Dads I saw out with their kids.  It made me think - the times really have changed.

When I was raising my kids Dads weren’t nearly as involved as they are today.

Back when Bob wrote his song, most Moms carried the bulk of the responsibility for caring for the children and most Dads worked outside of the home to provide for their families. 

Around that time, the shift began.  Gradually we have moved to a society where Dads are much more actively involved in child rearing and more Moms are helping provide for their family.

Dads play an incredibly important role in the lives of their children.   Success By 6 is proud to support parent programs that support Dads.
