Letters are pouring in from all corners of the province in support of Success By 6.  Mayors, school districts, health professionals, credit unions and many others are writing letters to Premier Campbell and Minister of Finance Colin Hansen urging the BC Government to continue its support of Success By 6.

John Harwood, Mayor of Clearwater notes, “with the Province’s desire to have the most literate population, programs such as Success By 6 allow for all of our children to enjoy a strong start towards that goal.”

“The ORCA Bus (On the Road with Children’s Activities)  … is an important project to the young children of Powell River -.  The work of Success By 6 is vital to this project surviving in our unique and isolated community” writes Rita John, Early Learning Coordinator for School District 47. 

Each year Success By 6 funds over 350 projects in communities across BC that support young children and their families. 

We are waiting to hear from the BC Government on the continuation of these projects for 2010.
