The Success By 6 Early Childhood Development calendar has been produced thanks to the generosity of the Credit Unions of BC.  Their support has made it possible to offer this calendar for free to over 55,000 families with young children across the province.  Inside this calendar, parents and caregivers will find valuable information to support them in the most important and rewarding job in the world – nurturing young children.

Contest Details:

• Contest starts at 6:00am Pacific Time on May 9, 2011 and closes on June 13, 2011 at 11:59pm Pacific Time.
• Limit – 2 photo submissions per family.
• All photos must show at least one child under 6 years of age and/or pregnant mom(s).
• Photo resolution should be a minimum of 300dpi, or the highest resolution setting on your camera. For more info on photo resolution, visit here.  File size cannot be more than 32MB.
• Photo must be in jpeg format and must not contain objectionable content.
• Photos submitted may also be selected for use in other Success By 6 materials to promote the importance of early childhood development.

Prizes:

• Grand Prize:  Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2MP DSLR Camera
• Secondary prize: Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS
• Third Prize: $100 gift certificate to your favourite restaurant
• Winners will be contacted by phone and announced on the Success By 6 facebook page

Eligibility:

• To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of British Columbia and be nineteen (19) years of age or older.
• You must be the sole owner of all right, title and interest (including copyright) in and to the work submitted in connection with the contest.

Finalists:

• All photos selected as finalists will be posted on facebook by June 20th, 2011.
• Finalists will be selected based on the "Kinds of Photo We Are Looking For" as described above.
• Please note that the number of finalists selected will depend on the number of submissions received, finalists will be posted onto the Success By 6 facebook page on a weekly basis for the duration of the contest.
• Finalists will be notified by email when their photo is uploaded onto the Success By 6 facebook page. 
• The photo with the most facebook “Likes” will win the grand prize.

Consent:

• By submitting your images, you give Success By 6 permission to use, publish or disseminate any of your images in print and/or on our website to promote the importance of early childhood development. You also waive any claims of ownership or copyright protection with the photos you submit.
• If your photo depicts a minor you must have written consent of the parent or guardian from each minor that appears in the photo.
• Names of children as provided on the Release and Consent form will be kept confidential.
